Product Review: bioINFUSION Brilliant Shine Shampoo & Conditioner

Today I decided to try a different shampoo and conditioner, just to see if I would notice a difference in the texture of my hair.

I definitely do.

What attracted me to this product is that (1) I already use bioINFUSION Olive Oil Moisturizer, and (2) these products do not contain sulfates or alcohol. They are made of vegan based ingredients.

Although, the bioINFUSION Brilliant Shine Shampoo and Conditioner with calendula and lemongrass seem to have the perfect ingredients, they just didn't do my hair any justice. Currently, my hair, which is dry and styled, feels dry and a little rough. I'm seeing stray hairs that I've never seen before. Brilliant shine? Not at all.

It seems that these products made the curls of my new growth very tight, like it sucked all of the moisture out of my poor locs. I noticed that after I washed my hair, my fingertips were pruny. You know how they get if you stay in the tub too long? That's how my fingers were! It's weird! It's like the products sucked the moisture out of my hands and my hair!

You guessed it! I would not recommend this product for relaxed or natural hair.
I have to sing this Sunday and I want my hair to be nice and shiny and bouncy so I'll probably do some deep conditioning within the next two days. Ugh.

Have you used this product before? Let me know how it worked for you.
